Earlier this July, our school participated in a programming design competition called ‘樂齡「同理」編程設計大賽’，where we won the Most Creative Award in the secondary school category. Students utilized their design and programming knowledge, Internet of Things technology, and incorporated AI elements to create a health management Android app specifically for the elderly.
The award-winning students are Chan Tin Yan (5B), Chan Tsz Hei (5B), Suen Ka Wan (5B), Grace Lin (5C), and So Wing Yiu (5D).
Additionally, our school participated in the Hong Kong Secondary School IT Knowledge Online Quiz Challenge organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology in July. Two students received awards in the secondary school category:
Li Yin Hang (4B) (Silver Medal in the individual finals)
Ng Pui Yuk (4B) (Bronze Medal in the individual finals)
These students demonstrated their ability to apply IT-related knowledge to answer questions, covering various topics in the information technology industry, such as game and animation design, software engineering, multimedia virtual reality creation, and more. Congratulations to the award-winning students, and we look forward to their continued efforts.
